Chopin 2010 Celebrations Office offers a map of places related to Fryderyk Chopin in Poland and abroad.
We would like to rediscover and present anew: schools, parks, squares, streets and monuments, memory plaques, etc. which remind us of one of the greatest artists in the history of culture, and which offer their own story, they keep secrets, they constitute an invitation for discussion.
In the framework of preparation for the Chopin Year we would like to draw attention to the state of the indicated places, and , if necessary, to initiate their renovation. We would also like to inform about every initiative of creating new Chopin space.
We would like to invite everybody to cooperate at construction of the map, galleries, and to send adequate materials together with photographs, which will be on a daily basis placed on the website in the tab “Places”. Maybe somebody will be able to reach such places and save them from oblivion…
