Stefan Witwicki
Paris. Easter. Fryderyk Chopin writes a letter to Stefan Witwicki: "I missed you here this summer. I could have cried a lot with you. […] What can I tell you? Tomorrow, on Monday, it is great Easter at duke and duchess Cz., Mick[iewicz] is not delivering any course this year. Many supporters leave him. […] And today evening I regret that you can’t be here with us and with Delacroix in the Conservatory Creation by Haydn is heard. It is only the second concert we attend this year. […]." He concludes: "It is cold here as it has never been before, today it is the first day without snow in the garden. Spring has forgotten us."
