Review of the concert 17.III and Hummel
Newspapers publish consecutive reviews of Fryderyk Chopin’s concert delivered on march 17 in the National Theatre in Warsaw. Franciszek Salezy Dmochowski in "Gazeta Korespondenta Warszawskiego i Zagranicznego" (No. 66 from 19 March 1830, p. 537-8) wrote: "On 17 of the present month, for a long time expected and announced by almost all national newspapers young Chopin performed a public Concert of his own compositions. […] The virtuoso received loud ovation after the first part of the concert, and after the second, that is Adagio and Rondo, […] received prolonged ovation and exclamations of delight.[…]"
