Brzowski Józef
Chopin in a letter to Józef Brzowski: "Today I have several guests at my place, among others Mrs. Sand, Liszt is performing and Nourrit is singing". According to Brzowski at the evening there were also: Heinrich Heine, Astolphe de Custine, Eugène Sue, Marie Sophie d’Agoult i Franz Liszt, dukes Włodzimierz and Bernard Potoccy, Wojciech Grzymała and Jan Matuszyński.
Józef Brzowski (1805-1888) – composer, cellist, pianist, conductor and a pedagogue. He studied in the Conservatory in Warsaw. He was the conductor of the opera and a ballet in Warsaw. During 1836-37, he traveled in Germany and France, where he met Chopin, he noted the fact in his notebook.

Ferdynand Hiller from Düsseldorf to Fryderyk Chopin in Paris: "...I think about You always as about one of the people whom I loved most in this world and for whom I will never change my feelings. When will we meet again? Please, come to the music festival at Pentecost, this time I am the conductor. Please, come, we will spend several good days and we will reminiscence with joy about old times! Adieu, always Yours Ferd. Hiller."
